Having released the critically-acclaimed debut, it's clear that all the work done towards developing a genuine and personal style has paid off. The interest is climbing as we each get another dose of the artist's talent in You Are My World. A swirling amalgam of lush and evocative synthesisers builds like vapours rising from aromatic mixtures. Beats sleek into the mix as George Phoenix Bonds opens the song. It's a love song a ballad through and through, given a modern dose of soul and RnB with the graceful poetry that runs along the contours of bass and tone like sensual fingers. Black Rose Burning
The Wheel PV Recording Company Avant-garde and gothic rock inspired Black Rose Burning are the perfect addition for fans of The Damned, Drab Majesty, Susperia, The Veldt, Twin Tribes, and The Cult. The track is taken from the sophomoric album of the same name, and delivers a short animated film to thrill and awe fans new and old. This New York City based group, headed up by George Grant on vocals, culminated nearly forty years' worth of songwriting expertise and experience. Formed in 2018, in only a short few years Black Rose Burning have established themselves as a true icon in their field. A catchy rhythm with snappy snare and cymbal throbs to the kick drums as a happy and dreamy guitar melody beams out with plenty of chorus and reverb. Vocals enter with emotive and clear lines of The Cure like elocutions. A sense of powerful emotion surges as the chorus launches in a double time drumming structure and elements of sustained distorted guitar chord. Working the crowd for her upcoming tour, Kayla Painter is preparing yet more multi-sensory sonic exhibitions for us all. Her reputation has been enhanced significantly thanks not only to her consistency and brilliance but also her dedication to the genre best expressed in her regular radio show, Connections To Sound. Welcoming in a sense of Spring and a reverence for abstraction and synthesis, we gladly enter the world of Balloons In The Arcade. Sweeping adjustments surface as haunting bells chime with secluded melodies. Repeating phrases echo into subtle boxes as the thump of a kick drum adds a delicious layering of vibe. Delicate tuneful breaks repeat and mix as the rhythm climbs into the sound of a wave rushing shore. The drums fall back as spiritual harmonies sing in birdsong like introspections of sonic clarity. Having learned to appreciate and write ballads and folk music, Jimmy Hennessy has reinvented this style for listeners at home and away. Hennessy has enjoyed plenty of radio play and positive press over the past year or two and it seems that the journey is only in the first chapter. Let's see what he came up with for Disciple Of The Sun. With keyboard and palm-muted acoustic guitar that chugs like a cornering train, Jimmy Hennessy begins. A melodic, upbeat, and invigorating feel opens with the ensuing lines. A rhythmic surge with a new melody on the keys breaks forward as the a chorus style interlude frames the uplifting energy of the track. Grand Prix Galway When you get away from the home-town drama and away from reputations and childhood memories, the freeing sensation of being renewed is tangible. Imagine, then, meeting a girl and for the first time in your life, she might actually like you. The mind goes into formula one mode with racing thoughts and driving emotions roaring around the neural circuitry. That's exactly what Pio Hartnett has written about with his smooth and easy-going alternative-rock sound. This is his second single, to be found on the forthcoming EP this summer, which hit all streaming sites on Friday 8th April. Dainty emotive vocals begin as angelic guitar notes pluck the song into existence. The words begin, synaesthesia and groove repel the dreary feelings as an uplifting swerve carries us along for the ride. Princess Maha's alter-ego The Kut is reinventing the rock n roll female icon for modern day music. With a heavy dose of grunge and a twist of anarchy-punk, The Kut as a live band has been touring the UK and entertaining the hell out of people in a nationwide live music revival funded by The National Lottery. Already veterans of Download and Camden Rocks, The Kut are regular features in radio and print media. Satellite is the latest number, with this counter-point remix thrusting the artist directly into the path of brand new fans. This track begins with a selection of beats that rumble in bass-driven patterns. The Kut adds melodic vocal. Princess Maha's synonymous voice delivers a haunting tone over the rising pulse of music.
