The son of a record store chain owner, Las Vegas home-grown Sylvaner was introduced to a plethora of traditional and eclectic sounds from the moment he got home from the ward. He knew music was important to him and as he grew up, Sylvaner decided to work in the studio. Learning how and then finding work, Sylvaner created a road for himself as a music producer and engineer. As he worked on sounds from great to brilliant from all kinds of musician, and found himself mixing and sliding the dials, his creative side began to take fruit. Three years ago, Sylvaner decided to start experimenting for himself. Recorded in complete privacy with only a guitarist to place the tone, and after a huge amount of work, this is the result. A minimal pop song with a spirit-fuelling vocal, the door has opened a little, and the light is getting in. Let’s walk through.

A deep and moody fuzz decorates the guitar as the layers of tone mingle and flux within the opening bars. Vocals shimmer and glow, drama and passion mix in a rising timbre of projective creation. The bass kicks as the drumming emerges with snare and slosh cymbal framing the punch of the kick. The sway brings out a jazz and blues direction as the vocal melody flows in abstraction and pattern with inflections within the humanly felt words. All manner of feelings rise to the surface as the guitars and vocal flow against the backdrop of distortion, resonant bass, and steady, groove making drums.
