It’s taken her five long years of persistent continual work to bring this project to its close. On January 30th, 2026, Gitika Partington stands to break the Guinness World Record for number of albums released on one day- by releasing thirteen. This isn’t some mass-produced AI album nonsense. The releases contain 130 original music productions written by Gitika and her enlisted band of writers. The project, called Twelvefold, was created in collaboration with a community online called iheartsongwriting. They’re based in Brisbane, Australia, where-as Gitika finds herself in the UK. Her sounds have been enjoyed by many already, with BBC Radio finding her work unmissable. She's also a choral director, so she knows a thing or two about getting people standing in the right place. With all her ducks perfectly quacking in harmony in neat little rows, who can resist this taster of the record-breaking moment we’re about to experience? This is Time Stands Still.

Piano and synthesiser mingle with ambiently dappled tones that project a meaningful and thoughtful poise. Gitika begins to sing, her voice suddenly hits hard as a beautifully crafted instrument. Her elocution and projection are something to be admired while the colour of her vocal is a delight. Subtle emotion rings through the pin-point words as the story reveals yet more descriptive flow. The music rises with guitars and drums; a folk element meets calming tranquility that could possibly be a sample one day. Melodic phrases push for first place as the words embellish the direction and progressive form. It’s a beautiful and adventurous number; in the way it invites you in and carries you gently through picture book like moments of sound.
