A merging of prog rock and electronic soundscapes meets a humanist lyrical entourage with the work of We Are Bodies. Formed by Dave Pen and Robin Foster, the duo bring a space-age and atmospheric distinctiveness to the circuit. Dave Pen is a pro live musician with roots in the alt-electro group BirdPen and the trip-rock compendium Archive. Robin Foster has a long history of music composition, based in France, he’s crafted a career in atmosphere and immense electronic adventures. With accolades such as music credits for Netflix and Prime dramas plus the occasional advert, his artistic side is always in demand. We Are Bodies puts it all into a smart and lively sound that compliments both musicians and anyone who chooses to listen. From the new album, The Love Was All We Had which is out on December the 6th, this is We Are Bodies with Dancing In The Midnight Howl. 
 
A rumble of atmosphere breaks into a fast drum and tone drift that carries us into the tranquillity of the moment. A spacious reverb hangs gently in every corner as the synthesiser pulses in melodic frames. The lyrics begin, a picturesque view on the world that vibes with the subtle electronica layered within the groove. A Pet Shop Boys meets The Cure double helix of evolution finds its way into the unique and spell-binding journey of windswept guitar lead and throbbing bass kick. Dave Pen adds all the vibrancy we need as the sonic landscape devised by Robin Foster continues to swirl and change like the ground beneath a free-floating glider.
