When he lived in Canada, the concept for an album arrived in his mind like a seed. Where ever it came from, who knows, but once it took root it was only a matter of time before the words were written and the beats programmed. Teaming up with some of the nation's best rappers, singers, and producers, it's time to start the music. This new single hits the nail on the head, he wants you to be inspired and rise up to be your best self. Since entering the hip hop scene about 20 years ago, working his way up as a DJ and collaborator, this new album and single is Shafto's first star in the pavement.


With subtle sounds, the music begins and ramps up with vocals and amplitude after a couple of bars. A brilliant synthesiser and drum progression works alongside Molly O'Brien as she sings with RnB infused feelings. Then, as the music continues with a smooth and easy-going swagger, Shafto adds his friendly and extremely well-crafted Irish rap. His voice shines with traditional dialect and also retains absolute clarity, meaning us foreigners can really enjoy the experience. A duel of vocal dances with passionate moves and flowing silks as the laid-back groove sits down with us and has a good chat.
