It’s the latest project of steams millionaire Pat Lok and Haitian Mexican polymath F-Mack. Their prolific entertainment genre of tunes captures a futurist dance jamboree with Italo beat and disco fundamentals. A live duo of mystery and allure, the pairing known as CŒUR ACIDE provide a limb stretching, head shunting, footwork labyrinth for revellers to navigate as they weave in and out of the bar line. They take a retro vibe from the glory days of 90s rave and techno then use all the creative scallywaggery of the age to produce something ever more present. Presenting themselves as time travelling refugees from an age where intimacy is outlawed, CŒUR ACIDE (Acid Heart) enter as a warning about our meaningless future. Penned as a soundtrack to the end of times, this is Touch Me (All Night Long). Don’t be shy.

A vibrant snappy rhythm breaks open the track with a jabbing synth melody that provides ample impetus to dance. A soul melody emerges from the vocal, it provides funky lines with a little swearing, parents, and runs down the aisle with flowing colours and upbeat fantasy. It’s a love song without the romance, carnal and platonic alike, we can all feel the groove and get in the mood for social interaction, maybe a bit more. It’s a dose of grown-up fun that carries the flame of retro groove into a liberated and technologically advanced age.
