Please Keep Talking South Wales Her music has been on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show and BBC Radio Wales have given MACY an A-listing status. The fun and lively pop singer is finding her wings and floating in the direction of the warming up currents. She’s only in her mid-twenties and has already surpassed the performing arts milestones many work their lives to achieve. She has performed in front of thousands of people including the Cymru BAFTA Awards and at the Principality Stadium. The brains behind Cardiff’s Planet Pop mini-festival, Macy is becoming a real archetypal figure in the entertainment scene. Her latest song has been co-written by Owain Felstead and the highly acclaimed Zak Lloyd. He’s worked with Taylor Swift, Charlie XCX, Keane, and many, many more. This time, Wales's very own MACY brings her fundamental sense of fun and clarity with Please Keep Talking. The music starts with a deep and catchy bass. It bounces like a heartbeat as an ambient drone synth takes a pitch and makes it its own thing. Macy begins; her song is about people who won’t stop talking. We know the kind, maybe I’m one. I hope not, but the lyrics offer funny, real, and relatable stories about those who drain our time and energy. The music is great, the synths bubble along with catchy and upbeat melodies while the rhythm maintains a fun and motivating sense of drive.
