Gearing up for their phenomenal tour involving two of their most sinister companion acts, Replicas from Takoma and Seattle’s 2Libras, the Seattle darkwave act Licorice Chamber present All I Ever Wanted. The three-piece band, headed by ex-Strap On Halo singer Layla Reyna, are getting ready to hit the road as their latest EP adorns the shelves. Sentience is out on the 8th of July and their tour carries the sound along the West coast of the United States in a long line of extraordinary and eclectic body moving, soul swirling niftiness. Having spent the past couple of years on the intense Pacific Coast circuit, Licorice Chamber bring their bravura euphony to the crowds on the other side of the house. Written about desire, with no holds barred, All I Ever Wanted pinpoints the latest EP and gives us something to remember when it’s time to sing along at the gig.  
 
The music starts with a lush hedonistic pulse beat on a vibrant bass tone. The melody evolves as new chords enter the flow in eerie and melancholy vibes. A splendid mix of rhythm and introspective harmony builds until Layla Reyna enters with her trademark emotionally relevant voice. An elemental force of nature, her vocals penetrate the shimmering sounds of keyboard and effects to lay down the stones of meaning.
