Collaborating with the cultural archetype maker David Lowe, who produces TV and film music, Donna Lewis has put together her steadfast new record. It begins with a vocal, Donna Lewis begins with her synonymous and catchy voice. It’s got a beautiful timbre; we feel an affection for her just through the sound. A layering of vocal builds over bouncing synths and bumpy electronic drums. There’s a Fleetwood Mac feel about the melody, she explores emotions with subtle transparency.
