With a swerve in the direction of Gang Of Four and Sonic Youth, Clone take on the social equation like never before. The market power is held by the big fish and little people like me and you struggle for even a percentage point of the bounty. We can only do our best, right? And yet if we organised and were willing to reasonably support each other, we can make sure that the wealth that does eventually trickle-down stays down for as long as possible. Psychedelic distortion and summer-time melodies soar from the intro with a pulsating rhythm that hangs in the fizz and atmosphere. Vocals begin, Dead Leaf Echo’s LG Galleon offers a grungy and emotional funk style delivery that dances on the mesmerism within the groove. A punk energy carries the chords into far-reaching riff experiments as the chopping percussion remains stable among the flux of melody and sound. Fast, loud, and in your face with passion, Immutable from Clone carries the weight of the world and makes it work in our favour.
