Fronted by the iconic and delectable Monique Powell, the upbeat and in-your-face ska and dance beat band Save Ferris are touring their new material. They’ve got a killer reputation for providing one of the most energetic and mind inspiring shows out there, dazzling the crowds with vibrant horns and crazy rock musicians all stitched together by a pin-up girl on the vocals. Their 1996 debut saw Save Ferris blast into the mainstream and their rendition of the classic song Come On Eileen simply gave the game away. This band are seriously fun, and they just want you to have a good time. Get Dancing is a call to action for all the music fans and gig goers who love a bit of Save Ferris, a bit of ska, and a lot of happy noise. 
 
The track opens with a sunshine style guitar riff, open tone and a light touch of electricity creates that memorable sound. The bass and organ dive in, bumping the tones of rhythmic melody in a slow and left to right swagger that moves. Monique begins, her reggae infused delivery hits the elocution with a laid-back cool breeziness that tickles the sweat beads forming on the brow. The trumpets and the guitars lean in and out with their harmonising dictations while the keyboard bubbles away like a cauldron of steaming clarity. Light-hearted but much deeper than skin, Get Dancing reimagines the summer for 2025.
