A mix of synths opens the tune with a catch-like melody that makes us sit us and listen. A rhythmic synth pulse then takes control as Isabella Storm begins to sing. A retro vibe carries the percussion through electronic beats and dance pulse bass. The vocal melody takes a character of soul, RnB, and disco as the harmonies and rhythm cause the song to merge along a step-pattern dance beat we can get with even if we have no idea. The music is clever enough to stay interesting and evolving as the repeating rhythms keep time and give us a stable backbone to build the drama on. It’s exciting, fun and lively, and the great lyrics give it a depth not many similar pieces can match.
