Taking their feminine attitude and putting it into creative action, the girls reinvent the good time sensation with their classy and intentionally emancipatory craft. If you’re one of the lucky ones and have seen Cocktail Slippers on the stage, you’ll know that their live shows are another level of fantastic with a barrage of hedonistic and musical treats that encapsulate, enthral, and entertain for the entire setlist. This cover of a popular deep track song by Van Morrison’s Them, it matches suit and gives us a doorway to 1964 we can walk through whenever we want. 

 

The music begins with a great raw sounding blues sound with those familiar chords people can instantly recognise. Were treated to some crowd interaction that might be familiar if you were there. A rock and roll swagger manifests as the music kicks off into the flow. The lyrics are so memorable, we can recall the times we’ve heard it before and maybe not placed the origin. Now you know, and if you already did, you’ll enjoy yourself all the same. A swinging sixties groove keeps the room in motion as the melodic verse chorus pattern is reinvented with a modern sense of passion and femininity.
