Out on Mindpower Records on August 9th, the new Jr. Juggernaut record hits the shelves and the sites in the long-anticipated release. Before then, the LA punk trio present Everything I Touch. Described as soulful and melodic, the track is written about the negative side of the self and how, despite our best intentions, it seems to creep in and make decisions in our name. Identifying the presence of poison is the first step in eliminating it, however as we all pour into each other every day with our words and motivations, the levels never seem to go to zero. The first record to feature The Pretty Flowers bassist, Noah Green, drummer Wal Rashidi and guitar vocalist Mike Williamson offer their first record on the label and their new lineup. Another Big Explosion, out next month, and its single Everything I Touch are setting in stone the legacy and future of the band.  
 
Opening with a lively and rhythmic progression, the power-chord volley launches into vocals on a crest of bass and drums. A cool and easy-going vocal lends a classic rock sense to the punk elements in the melody as the riffs carry the heavy vessel through choppy waters. A breezy lick here and there on the guitar adds a blues edge to the flow as the distortion and chords crack against the snare with kick drums and cymbals filling out the vibrations.  A fun and upbeat intensity sails through Jr. Juggernaut’s Everything I Touch in an enjoyable blues rock flavoured punk number that could sit easily next to INXS, Green Day, or Guns N Roses.
