Their electronic 80s sound meets diversity and charm as the party continues well into the 21st Century. I of course mean the highly acclaimed Zkeletonz who, as they embark on a new UK tour, provide another headmasher and footstamper in the name of Lonely. Don’t let the morbs put you off, you know we’re all capable of feeling it and sometimes it’s not that bad anyway. They’re no strangers to the professional studio, fans will know full well that their recent appearances on Radio One with Scott Mills, Radio Two, 6 Music, Radio X, and Channel 4 are just a few of the many high profile public appearances they have enjoyed thanks to their talents and personality. As their tour of Britain continues, they’ve bagged a headliner slot at Oslo In Hackney, a great little venue that punches well over its weight. Zkeletonz have also been listed as the support act for the popular culture colossus Craig Charles and the Spandau Ballet star turned acting sensation Martin Kemp. The new video for the single, released on Friday 13th September, showcases the track in a POV storybook directed by Star Wars, Rocketman, and Guardians of the Galaxy accredited Adam McHattie. Everything points towards your need to hear these guys and find out what everyone is so excited about, so let’s brave the emotional winter with Lonely.  
 
A quick-step drum pattern lifts the track as synths offer funky dance beats that vibe on the bar. A harmony of tones adds their similarity as the tonal edges drive the energy into a major key. Vocals hit, the disco style delivery with an almost falsetto range brings a clear nostalgic sense of synthpop from times gone by yet the beat and the synthesiser offer something much more up to date. Various linkages with drum fills and synth builds bring the verse chorus structure to evolutionary heights as new motifs of melody leap from the framework to add their adventure to the mix.
