With former members of Heymoonshaker and Catfish, Dead Chic present the lead single from their forthcoming album. Directed by Anastasja Black, Paris is made to run like an old Spaghetti Western.  Filmed in the Spanish desert, the video shows the adventures of the cast as they battle their own demons. After forming when touring musicians Andy Balcon and Damien Félix met and sparked a friendship, the band released their first single back in 2022. Now with Rémi Ferbus and Mathis Akengin to complete the line-up, the band are ready to take on the scene once again with even more new material. As we wait for the album, we get to know a bit of Paris.  
 
A rising semblance of sounds abstractly bursts into the silence before the calm and progressive, clean guitar adds a genuine flow. Sliding notes and chord picked patterns fling the tune outward as the vocals begin the graceful mosey into the foreground. A frill and tremolo greet the breezy chords as the melody reaches into the familiar scales used so often by cowboys. Who knows what shenanigans they have been planning and escaping from, tipping hats and leaving hoofprints in the transient sand. A blues and rock feel shimmers from the mirage of sun hitting the quartz in infinite angular diversity. A fantastic progressive sense of motion keeps us going as the music adds the pressure with emotive and musical intensity. We can take ourselves into the world of yesterday, the feel of raw denim on rippling hide, meeting our match and striking the deal.
