You’ll Be Fine
All the way from Oakland, California, the art-rock compendium Seal Party sit tight on the rollercoaster with a new video single. Premiered at the iconic Chabot Theatre in North California, the video has since been published to streaming sites around the internet. The Actor Michael Cahalen and his dog Moose were cast to perform in the film by director Alex Largusa. Written to describe the perpetual endurance capacity of the human spirit, You’ll Be Fine is the final track on their brand-new album, MMXXII. Written by front-man Kevin Seal and co-creator Chris McGrew, the mixing was meticulously finalised by McGrew and Jaimeson Durr. He’s well-known in the leading studios for working with highly successful artists including Hope Sandoval, Joe Satriani, and Sammy Hagar (follow the links for eBay swag!). Featuring an entire orchestra of top-tier musicians from the world stage, the collective of composers brings a full-on and genuinely wholesome sound to their written pieces.
Guitars and strings begin with a minor key and a sombre mood. A feeling of close-up emotion washes across the music as the lyrics begin. We drift into the story as the song reminds us of human qualities in reverse, a plodding determination ensues and the music builds with clarity and passion with a royal trumpet solo that lifts the clouds as if they were surrounding Jericho.
