Self-released, the former Projekt Records artist brings an extra few colours and shades to this timeless adventure. The single from this year’s third studio album, Lost Within This Time is set to enchant and allure through mysterious musical phrases and spine-tingling singing that leaves you feeling fulfilled. A fascinating story about a music poster in an elevator that’s possessed by the girl, then our hapless hero is drawn in and left to exist within her two-dimensional domain, this video is a must watch. 

 

A synth-wave selection of notes knits a melody over a droning bass that shudders in the foreground. The 80s retro feel takes its place as modern sentiments manifest through technology and mastering. Anji Bee begins to sing, her voice is delicate and colourful, delivering pretty lines in rows, the music turns a corner and she begins to whisper. Haunting bells crumble and chime in the shadows as strange sounds of the elevator take a rhythmic stance. The synthesiser begins to rise from the sonic mulch and a rising progression meets captivating drumming where the metalwork becomes an instrument all on its own. A hypnotic journey, with a non-commercial formula, Lost Within This Time takes us in and keeps us there.
