With a brand new 7’’ record doing the business, the New York sharkcore punks ChumHuffer present the single. Ways brings the noise and the energy into a pinpoint injection of attitude and rebellion for everyone looking to have the mould broken into a thousand bits. The band are renowned for their hard-hitting style and no nonsense artform that shakes the bones and rattles the mind. The new Slaughterhouse Five record is another self-released gem that makes the scene on their home-grown DWY Records. Naturally, the EP contains 5 brutal tracks, which will be performed on 22nd June at Bowery Electric in New York. First, we can go through Ways.  
 
A groovy guitar riff strides out with that classic drawn-out melody accompanied by ferocious beats. Before we’re taken down the road with Crowbar, the attitude peaks and shifts gear as the drumming doubles up and the vocals begin. A punk and thrash forward momentum catches the current and soars out on frantic guitar and bass that feels like a pneumatic drill. The jackhammer of jagged blues licks and heavy crunch chords that leap from bar to bar, fret to fret, matches up with a persistent and loud sing-along deviance we can attempt to get right.
