The Mancunian three-piece electronic outfit, with an integral projectionist and light-show artist, Scissorgun prepare to unleash Scream If You Wanna Go Faster. Out on Dimple Discs at the end of the month, the band headline their own act with a double set of singles we can get with straight away. Gone Rogue and Bad As Bingo put their sound on the radar at multiple angles, meaning it’s almost impossible to ignore or miss. Synths, percussions, effected guitar, samples, theatrical vocals, and of course visual experiences frame a cerebral celebration of sound and luminance. Formed in 2016, the band are made of music veterans who continue the Factory Records ethos into the afterlife. With ex-members of Crispy Ambulance and Triclops meeting in the middle, under the laser studded sky, this could be your number. It’s Bad As Bingo.  
 
It’s got a modern disco rhythm that unleashes a vocal chant, rippling with resonance and reverb. Dog bark samples and massive bass crunches begin to form a network of disjointed flow that feels like a Lego river, complete with rapids, waves, and lapping cubes. Punk and emo vocals offer a searingly Cure-esque sulk through strange feelings that mirror alongside an upbeat Chumbawamba energy. Dirty guitars wail out in simple melodics as the fusing bass and synth complete the madness in abstraction and good grief.
