Stepping off the tour bus with a long line of satisfied Spanish power pop fans behind him, the prolific Kurt Baker returns to the studio sound with Inner Demons. He’s a true veteran of the power pop and punk rock scene; the uplifting and free-spirited vibe the genre provides feels right at home with Kurt’s upbeat personality and thoughtful agenda. With a home on Little StevenVan Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records, Kurt Baker continues to experiment with songwriting ideas and concepts that bring the people together and send them away with lots to think about. Originally titled Keep Wishing, the track we now know as Inner Demons by Kurt Baker has been in the process for a while, with the final version making an appearance shortly after the release of his recent LP. 
 
With a choppy guitar riff, the music barrages through the double doors on stilts of amplitude and distortion. With a sway of the rhythm, Kurt Baker enters with his signature power punk voice. Swagger and artitude bring the business as the power-chords rip up the track and drums pounce on every bar. Pinning down the devil has been a worthy journey; the evolution of the song gives it a well-polished and classic rock feel that bounces off the walls in traditional noughties rock style. A leaning back to the late 80s punch greets modern and fresh musicianship and studio work that culminates in a fantastic drive through upbeat and enjoyable sentiments.
