Alternative soul for the refined music fan, this UK based duo have recently revealed their latest single. Already hailed as one of the best singles of the year by Amplify Magazine, the only reason Sound Read Six has taken so long to feature them is your editor and author has important childcare to do. Like Labour's Sir Keir Starmer rightly said, “I won't apologise”.. for being a father. The track was inspired by the song by Top Topham, original guitarist of The Yardbirds, and also features the star in production. With Léanie Kaleido on vocals and Mark Foster on guitar, the single was produced by RIDE frontman Mark Gardener. It also features Mo Pleasure, former bassist of Earth Wind and Fire, and session guy for Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and Ray Charles.


The music opens with a fantastic brass introduction that begins to swagger with guitar and drums. Bluesy melodies fly from the vocal as a laid-back and sunny vibe dictates the flow. Deep sensuality in the soulful delivery rises with the subtle kinetics within the progressive verse. Smooth and harmonious tones ripple from the amalgam of band and vocal, we learn the words quickly and sing a long with formality as the rhythm sways us into a relaxed state of being.
