They have a fantastic slide guitar and power chord blend of punk that snugly fits on the roster of Punkerton Records. From Queens, New York, the three-piece new-comers Mayzie Belle have just put out their debut single Beach Bum. Proudly in Stereo, just like the old days, the cover depicts an old-fashioned car with a woman on the beach lounging in the sun, wearing a red bikini. The tone has been set, and the sound is about to be revealed, Beach Bum puts on a show for Summer 25. An original college band, Mayzie Belle began life doing covers and pulling in crowds with classic renditions. Realising that their own talents are worth exploring, the band have moved on and begun to write their own material. Beach Bum is the first official release, and there’s bound to be plenty more just over the horizon.  
 
The guitars bring out the music with a groovy bounce before the vocals begin. A Queen Adrena style projection of lyrics reaches the high notes with sauntering swagger and class. A funky element keeps the bass moving in time while the guitars lap over each other like waves caught in a harbour. The song moves up and down with pace and energy in movements that keep us guessing while entertaining all the while. A classic pop punk sound fuses with an imagination and dream that crumbles in as effect and sound production. Exciting, and the track just wants to be played one more time.
