Dream-pop duo The Yets are on fire with their catchy and incredibly morish sound. They’ve been busy as always and now we have a new album to put on the system. From South Carolina, the pairing of songwriters, Craig Anderson Snook and Robin Wilson bring their talents from their band days in Skirt and Gross Negligence to reinvent the bliss rock vein that we all want to take samples from. They use time-tested techniques of writing quality material and then add some modern fun and magic that they create through effort and persistence, realising a mixture of ultra new and ultra classic material that we can all get into. With a host of beautiful singles already, Pinup Girl marks the release of their new album of which this video is its title track. 
 
It begins gracefully, gradual beats splash into the quiet and bring a fullness as they resonate. The drums are met by guitar and synthesiser, ethnic and rock n roll sounds join in a combination of melodic caress that rise to meet the lyrics. Robin Wilson starts, the verses shine with ethereal composition and magical soul-filled deliveries. A silken flow of material sound flings past in seamless runs of shifting chord and melodic break that sponge up the raw emotions the seep from every line. It carries you away and leaves you high on mountains of idea, a dream and a fantasy put to words and music, The Yets have always got something familiarly exotic for us to wrap ourselves up in.
