Written about unhooking oneself from destructive relationships, reassessing the reality of individuals and their attitudes towards you based on facts can sometimes leave us little choice. Blue Foundation are one of those groups that seem to get everywhere. They’ve collaborated with some huge names like DJ Krush, Jonas Bjerre of Mew, and Erika Spring of Au Revoir Simone. They’ve also made it into various films and TV like Miami Vice and Vampire Diaries.  Recorded live earlier this year at the world-famous Royal Danish Theatre, As I Moved On from the phenomenal Blue Foundation gets a live version single release. Finding that unique energy that exists between the synergy of crowd and creator and putting what remains of it down onto format for the rest to enjoy is a key part of a band’s repertoire. We all love the live version. Here it is. 
 
A wave of beautiful vocal washes over a body of synth and bass as strings reach out from the amalgam. A launch of emotion rises from the bubbling textures as a pinpoint of sound becomes the lead voice. Guitars and bass thump and shimmer behind the flow of song as the band courses on the gradual wave of resolution. The melody changes, duet vocals add shiver to the sensation and the gravity of the band hits hard with an extra layer of distortion. The moving story of shifting sounds with folk and rock joins the river like tributaries of sunkissed gold, a fire burns within the heart of the laidback piece, radiance and energy holds tight as the focus and alignment becomes one more distant point of light.
