The LA music scene is as vibrant as it is diverse, influences from all corners of the atlas get a mention and a sounding in the many venues large and small across the metropolis. From working with giants like Save Ferris, The Two Tens, Josie Cotton, and Richie Ramone, The Manic Standstill frontman Adam Bones puts it all back into the system with his sleek and stylish song writing. The band of today was formed after the recording of this track, with it being the foundation stone for the next chapter in the Bones logbook. This recording captures the energy of Aixa Vilar and Michelle Rangel from Go Betty Go’s rhythm section plus Prima Donna’s Kevin Preston on backing vocals. His method of what he calls ‘kidnapping’ musicians to perform on the material has led to a huge album that’s dotted with talent from all over the scene. This is just the first story. So, what are the Reasons Why? 
 
A wall of guitars smashes the tune into being with drums rolling and breaking along the first few bars. A grunge and punk style riff then hammers itself into shape and the vocals begin. A great voice, with a sense of rock star and stadiums, the track carries through the punk rhythm on the drums with layers of harmonising guitars playing power chords and bass throbbing along with the scale. Reasons Why from The Manic Standstill is a fantastic surge of punchy punk riff-based hard rock.
