The first single from the upcoming new album, Clouds So Low showcases Austin’s Claude9 as their premiere synthpop and electro artist. Texas is better known for Country and Western, but anyone with a braincell knows that locations and their stereotypes are for the birds. Electronic music has a home anywhere it can be enjoyed, which means the artform has quickly become a global phenomenon. The new Chords Of Love album will be out March 28th on New Human Music and lets loose a string of chilled and mind-massaging numbers that complete the atmosphere. Blending vibes from trip-hop and experimental Brian Eno style backdrops, Claude9 brings a rhythmic escapism and a mental clarity through portioned and pedicured sound waves.  
 
A chunky drum-break begins the tune as swirling radio sounds sweep across like digital owls. Lush chords find their way through as a chewy bass underscore wraps up the road below the fizzing and luminescing floodlights of sound. A robot effect on the vocal brings a retro vibe as the song begins with laid back groove. The song progresses as a spoken word element joins the rhythm, drums continue in brief hip-hop lie bursts of rattling metalwork and rolling skins.
