Out imminently on Thousand Island Records, the next instalment of the Canadian mad-house punk group Midnight Peg is being flag-shipped by this latest single. Thirstland releases an excess of energy on the wavelengths of brash and bombastic harsh rock and grunge with their signature punk groove to embellish the parcel. The band have already achieved tens of thousands of streams in their short history, with premiere recordings making all the difference at the sharp end. This latest record has been recorded by Rob Lawless and Cody Blakely at Half Stack Studios with Blakely adding the finishing touches on production. The whole record has been mastered by Stuart McKillop from Rain City Recorders. If you like The Deftones, Turnstile, Drug Church, and Amyl and the Sniffers, then Midnight Peg are waiting for you to cotton on.  
 
A massive guitar and bass riff begins the track with a sound that’s not far from the Foo Fighters. Before we know what’s happening, the punk beat enters and the music changes gear. The female fronted punk sound hits like a hurricane as shouting Atari Teenage Riot style vocals bring out a hardcore energy as the heavy punk riffs continue to march in time to the franticity. A searing emotional charge pushes through any resistance that might be haplessly standing in the way, the band challenges the silence with a free-falling anthem to noise.
