A glimpse at what is to come and a lively addition to your playlist, Eddy Derecho takes the adventurous step of using vocals against the backdrop of previous instrumental work. About our human flaws that mean we are quick to judge, marginalise, and eradicate, this energetic and noise-fest production carries a swift and crushing creativity that can’t be ignored. Including the drumming talents of Matt Walker, of Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Morrissey, and more, plus the visual effects of John Airo for the video, this latest album has contributions from a range of names from the alternative rock crowd. Using music as a tool to explore our relationship to the world and its problems, perhaps a few good songs can help us to make sense of what needs to be done. 
 
A forest of drums and guitar sounds begins the motion picture, chunky bass punches in the time stamp while the churning deliciousness of sound continues to progress. A vocal begins, harmonising and effected to a crisp uniqueness, the punky rock guitars offer harmonics and riff-based chord progressions that rise and fall as the bass completes the picture.  A fascinating retrograde feel takes us into realms of grunge, 90s alternative rock, and some kind of 80s metal as the band led by Rev Billy concocts an arrangement of influence and journeymanship that caries us over the horizon.
