Stealth Mode (Timo Maas Remix)
Gun Raven Records
Launching the brand-new Gun Raven label, Budapest producer, musician, DJ, VJ, and visionary Swim The Shine puts the first stone firmly in place. Stealth Mode EP is the latest production from the artist and has been specifically produced to begin a tower of music that will grow far into the future. Swim The Shine is well-known for his live shows, having completed massive dates at venues in places like Berlin, Porto, Freiburg, Paris, Montreal, Budapest, London, and Barcelona. He even played the drums during the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony, under the wing of Danny Boyle and Underworld’s Rick Smith. Written while on a plane to Moscow back in friendly 2017, the track and its counterparts are now more than ready to hit the scene.
Deep techno pulses begin the record. Scatterings of synth build the flow with neat packets. Cymbals and bass tap against the quick-step rhythm as gradual layers add flux and motive to the direction of the beat. Sonic shadows creep along the close walls as the resounding bass throbs through the framework and beyond the horizon. Captured spectres flicker in the luminescent haze that wafts across the pulsing mix. A grabbing synth then begins to churn a rhythmic melody that stitches through the bass and percussion, lifting until it is the only presence. Dropping back down, a selection of bells join the flow. These make a scene then vanish to the background just for a moment as the score adapts and folds to compensate for their vibe. Progressive beats with subtle reflections of spirit, the mix reveals facias and sides that evolve through the braiding of the steady tempo.
