A blurring of psyche-rock and tropicalia forms a wall of intrigue as Brazilian rockers Bike present their new single. Taken from May’s new album, the band are riding the wave of momentum that’s arisen from their brilliant previous releases. Known at home and abroad for a lively and energising sound, Bike are definitely motoring along with the help of high-octane competence.  In 2014, Bike were the only Brazilian act with an album out that year. Enigma Do Dente Falso was released on 30th Century Records, an outlet of Columbia Records founded by the superstar producer Danger Mouse. With over 400 live shows behind them in 16 Brazilian states, Bike are ready to take on the whole world with their untameable sound.
 
Reverb drenched guitar unravels against a slosh of cymbal and bending notes. Bass throws the moves into the puzzle as a wandering energy begins to take us on a journey. The guitar starts to sway with interesting distortion melodies as a calm and focussed vocal peaks at the centre. Folk and jazz flicker in the seductive flame that dances in the sound. Sudden drops of rhythm craft a unique passage into the underworld of strange and alluring music. Psychedelic surges of guitar effect and ambience drift through the mix like ghosts on misty horizons. We’re drawn in and covered in a duvet of graceful momentum.
