Since pre-pandemic days, Urania have been enjoying illegal raves and have proven themselves to be a musical force of nature. Now heading out into the bigger spotlight, and with a brand new radio single, Leicester's electro rock outfit are setting sail for the wide ocean. Simulation Hypothesis opens the gates to a realm of thought and sound that we all want to explore. Are we living in a simulation? And if so, are we also a simulation? Then, if we live in a universe that's purely scientific principles playing out their functions, is there any difference? Maybe the fact that we find the question so interesting points to an open intuition that we are not simulated at all, even when everything around us is obeying seemingly pre-programmed instructions that are independent.
Vibrant synthesiser and rock drums break the song open like a cracker. Siren tones and huge bass spill out over the table, vocals begin and raise the energy to a point higher than we expected. Reverb wobbles the tone into a pinnacle of uplifting harmony as the music changes, bringing out new edges to the shape. A constant synthesiser presence hones the dynamics of the composition as various parts launch the song into progressive orbits. It's great uplifting dance track that punches you like heavy metal.
