Boy is a song about a narcissist, who plagued with feelings of guilt and shame, refuses to let go of the self-protection of feeling superior.
 
Haunting whistle tones expand into breath sounds with drums emerging from chrysalis like capsules of compression. Vocals enter and enchant with melodious swerves into higher tones as the band rumbles beneath.
