As the hugely talented Lloren embarks on her highly anticipated Dream Pop chapter with her album It’s Always Sunny In LA, we get a dose of the magic potion with her latest single. The finalist from TV’s The Voice and a colourful background with working in the TV score and cinematic style, taking on the theme of surreal and beautiful feels perfectly natural. Allowing the mind to spin its own webs of image and emotion to the sound of intriguing and evocative music gives us all a chance to use the imagination with a guided flow of ideas. Her recent singles have been enjoyed by audiences the world over including listeners to Radio 2 and Radio X. She’s been in Diva Magazine, Line Of Best Bit, and Celebmix plus has performed in front of thousands of people including more than one Pride event. Written as a love letter to Los Angeles, the single and its accompanying album take us on an exploration of emotion and story set in this iconic and world-famous city. 
 
Voice and effect mingle with synth as the sounds rise from the ether. A burst of bass rhythm arrives to join the vocal as a clean and harmonious verse begins. With every line, new layers of music join the mix and raise the harmony. With a tingle, a chorus shunts into the flow as intensity and song combine with epic sways of feeling. Pitch perfect and pretty lines sit like birds on the chapterhouse railings, eyeing the landscape and appreciating the abundance of what lays beyond. A regular face at the local Pride festivals across England, the fast-rising pop music sensation Lloren presents her latest single. Like This is a precursor to the new album, with details to be revealed in the near future, so we can be assured of more to come. We’ve all likely heard her music before, with tracks featuring on several TV shows including Love Island USA and UK, The Company You Keep, Made In Chelsea, 1923, Wish, The L Word, and Grey’s Anatomy. A knack for writing the melodies and hooks that portray universal feeling and understanding makes her sound a go-to wishing well for like-minded stories. A novel use of the 1980s retro sound dynamic and thoughtful identifiable lyrics gives Lloren’s music a classic yet modern feel.
 
The song begins with a siren and a warning of attack, a synthesiser wanders in, bringing tones and melody for a vocal to enter. Lloren sings with her crisp and immediately identifiable voice. A drum pushes the music into a higher state of vibrancy, and the melody expands gently until the wave crashes over, washing over us with a burst of catchy chorus. A rock band with powerful rhythms catches the sails like a gale as heady keyboards move in atmospheric harmonies. The composition culminates in an anthemic jump around with a lively and one-more-time chorus.
