Unifying the great sound of roots and western music with their own brand of Swedish blues, Pelican Rocket brings the melodious and country-inspired Stank. Pelican Rocket is more of a community than a band, with people from all corners making their appearances and contributions as time goes by. It’s an exciting time for this fresh blues outfit, with their debut single recently released to the global scene. Comprised of four key musicians with plenty of experience, and a long list of family and friends who make it happen, it’s a momentous time for Pelican Rocket and only the beginning of something long-lived indeed.
 
Harmonica and reverb saunters into the tavern as guitars and drums perk up and pay attention. As the music takes a hold, the percussion offers a rock n roll rhythm as guitars twang and buzz on progressive chord manoeuvres. Vocals enter, strong and punchy vocals with pitch-perfect power smash through the double swing doors and walks confidently to the centre of the stage. The band groove to the energy offered by the lyrics, heavy metal elements hit punk and country vibes in a triangle of quality sound.
