On a fantastic run of releases and growth, New York punk rock duo Castle Black present Radio Queen. Musical royalty indeed, the group were recently talked about in New York Music Daily. Taken from their fiery EP called Get Up, Dancer, the Radio Queen takes a few nights out on the town as the airwaves vibe to her divine right.


A reverberating guitar shoots like a star over moody skies. Drums and bass thunder through as the song begins. Slow lyrics snake with sultry melody over a folk style progression as the music churns with imminent power. Then, with a chord change and a hail of distortion and drums, the chorus begins. The pace quickens to a punk beat as Castle Black's distinctive attitude shines forth. Catchy chorus lines and hurled guitar riffs that bounce into drum-fused walls instigate a dramatic and upbeat smash through glorious convictions.
