In just three fast-moving years, Duality Trax have launched their label and attracted the cream of the scene with their retro flavoured house and dance music releases. The Welsh house musician of repute has landed on the label and is now the current headline act on the impress. The Haŵs (House) label owner began working with Belfast's Duality Trax with music and ideas being rebounded across channels for some time. The eventual result was this collection of tracks collectively known as Reality Checkpoint EP. Pushing the boundaries of dance, house, breaks, and old—school prog trance, this first full-length EP from the artist celebrates the timeless oceans of revelling that continue to this day. The power of the beat played loudly in largely populated and dimly lit rooms lives on.
 
It begins with a flourish of snare and kick with twinges of cymbal hanging in the background. An airy synth begins to add colourful wafts of breezy notation to the ever-growing pressure. Layers of digital tom break free from the surge as a sinking bassline enters on the next bar. Harmonising dapples of synthesiser flow and twinkle as the beat rises to meet the new energy granted by bass and melody. Repeating tones spiral in vibrant verses of movement and the kinetic mix grows and spreads out like a mycelium of music. Escaping the gravity of the rhythm, the sound envelopes a larger space in which tantalising turns offer new dimensions to the choreography in potential.
