Evidence Of A Struggle is the musical phenomenon envisioned by Rev. Billy Simmons, evoking​ the same sense of atmosphere as pioneer-post-rock groups like Swans, Explosions In The Sky and Mogwai. A true sense of tradition manages their vibrancy and flare into the well-manicured realms of proficiency that makes all the difference. Three animation video singles are currently on the crest of their head-wave of which Bisquee is one. You can also watch Do’Oa and Alan’s Song, which are also expertly created. Taken from the eponymous album, Evidence Of A Struggle LP is made of 6 tracks which run in coherent progression with a six chapter storybook invented by John Airo.
 
A wall of guitar and bass collapses in on a foundation of punchy drums as feedback roils upward like dust in the heated air. A surge of energy forwards through a weighty atmosphere of thick sonic harmony. Crawling bass notes amble up the mountain left behind and make their way to the peak. A motivating cymbal matches the thudding bass drum as snapping snares push through the uncertainty. Melodious and surrounding, a spiral of whirling guitar and distortion shudders over and around as the phrases in the music make their way in progression.
