Named after the popular Talking Heads number, After The Money Is Gone, ATMIG produce their own brand of upmarket indie-rock. Before the lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic, ATMIG ran a successful kickstarter campaign to fuel their debut record and tour. The response was fantastic and with everything in place, and a long list of performances now behind them, the band release Avec Muscles EP. Ride is the single, which is already gaining global attention thanks to radio play all over the place.


Bursts of toneful guitar sway in chimney clouds as the locomotion of the music leaves the platform. With tension rising on each bar and a delicate layer of melodic vocal, a progressive sense of kinesis ensues. A string begins to wail within the forward motion as elevated passengers see smooth landscapes blur within their static chambers. Evocative and imaginative passages lean in and offer secrets through the dreamy passing of musical time.
