Surfing the copious wave left in the wakes of the legendary David Bowie and Roxy Music, Tim Izzard returns with a follow-up to Starlight Rendezvous. This latest EP once more celebrates the vibe that comes with glam rock. The silver clothes and elaborate decorations that all went into making larger than life personalities even bigger in the eyes of the fans had a soundtrack with a certain feel. Bottling this sensation is what Tim Izzard does with his music and now he's released 21st Century Expose. The latest single, Glam Rock Star (Tribute), is getting the attention it deserves.


With a rush of drums, a synthesiser and guitar combo launches into orbit. Sparkling tones fling themselves from grinding chords that kiss the bars in mechanical tempo. Tim Izzard sings, he's got a clear rock n roll voice that reminds me of Rod Stewart at times. The song defines a character that we can all probably relate to. Dreaming of being the greatest glam rock star, maybe that's what you have to do if you want to make something people will remember.
