The solo post-punk gothic rock project of the prolific Paul Dillon always produces some of the most cutting-edge and inspirational new material. A hardcore sentiment and a knack for exposing emotion in its ability to perform, the music of pMad forces the issue with continual and consistent quality. A series of new singles have made their appearance on Sound Read Six, and it’s a pleasure to see the latest track Sword being snapped up by music scenes around the globe. Better late than never, and with plenty of acclaim already, pMad’s Sword takes the front row seat today.
 
The music begins with an almost heavy metal intro as a chop guitar thrashes a melodic chord progression through palm-muted rhythms. The electro drums kick in as the guitars smash against the cymbals and bass thumps in between. The vocal starts, pMad offers his melodic rap style that spins imagery and feeling as the upbeat music elevates his repeated lines. A huge rock n roll atmosphere crumbles around the body of energy and filling that’s seasoned and spiced with avantgarde and poetic linguistics. Sword by pMad is a killer track, sharp and flashy, the music sinks deep into the flesh as the vibrations greet us like portions of thirsty nourishment.
