Since 2016’s inaugural The Shape Of Drums To Come, Khompa has been expanding his scope and finding new ways to manifest his unique vision of sound. Mixing organic drumming with mixing and various drum trigger technology, Khompa has knitted a rhythmic and rain resistant fabric of sound that has its own unique style. His work has been featured in Modern Drummer and Ableton Live for its universal inspiration. As drums become triggers, the technology can link the sound to a switch for an array of digital instruments including synthesisers, samplers, and studio effects. Following on from the most recent album Perceive Reality, Tre Trigger Contro Tre Trigger takes a slice of the recent work and builds on the foundation. Further inventing the new map of sonic progress that Khompa can unscroll, the new single features a complete live set of audio and visual triggered entirely by human percussion.
 
A barrage of beats slams forward with vibrant motion and enters a realm of sculpture and wave. Layers of rhythm and pulsations of melody bulge in growing avenues of progressive build. Scattered percussives layer in ploughed crevices left in the wake of the human arm. A continual growth lends character and scope to the fluctuations of sound. Airy sonics merge with punching skin to find mediums within digital beats and throbbing electronics. Tre Trigger Contro Tre Trigger from Khompa is a bashful and manic launchpad of rhythms and creativity.
