Namely Fintan Tynan on vocals, Collum Kelly on the guitar, Damien Ruddy on the bass, and Adam Reeves behind the drum-kit, Raging Sons take the lead with Square One. When taking the front of the pack into the unknown, its always square one. Similar to U2 and The Killers, this loud and skilful group of guys have already enjoyed Track Of The Week on RTÉ 2FM which goes out over all Ireland. A much anticipated album is on the wing and due to land sometime at the end of October, so while we wait we can enjoy this cracking new track and video.


It starts with vocal that soon meets a rhythmic mix of drum and guitar. It sounds like bass harmonics forming a repeating melody of toneful kinesis. The guitars rise in the mix and chords bash out epic scenes of soundscape as the vocal evolves into melodious and avant-garde displays of passion. The progressive force behind the composition maintains a keen tempo based on the repeating riff from the beginning yet allows plenty of room for exploration and shifts in power. Excellent lyrics keep it all fresh as repeating sections never quite sound the same and a clever middle-eight turns over to show even more aspect to this craft.
