When skilful singer-songwriter Kris Finn began working in the studio with the hotly talented Denis O’Neill, The Animal Gang was formed. Now with the additions of Carl on guitar, Paul on the drums, and Shakey on the bass, the band have everything they need to produce their canopy chorus from the lofty heights of well-earned musical prowess. Having grown in number and outreach since their 2016 debut Like A Mine, now with their third single and second of the year, Gimme Love has been inspired by the guitar energy we can find in groups like AC/DC and The Rolling Stones (follow the links to eBay merch).
 
A funky slosh of rhythm opens the track as laid-back guitar riffs begin to surge with a bluesy swagger. Melody builds on the chords as bass and guitar jam in frothy scales and progressions.
