The first full-length record to be released on the label, A Tribe Called Kotori provide the framework to release Bubblebath Trance from Rampue. What began as a moment of disaster when a laptop fell into Rampue’s bubblebath, destroying hours of work and the backups, has become a stylish and rule-defining escape into mental clarity and obscure imagination. All the way over in Berlin, Rampue creates electronic wonderments built from progressive house and nodding Balearic beats. Vibe and velocity mingle and merge with a downward spiral of moody, mischievous mixes that form over an hour of fascination and sonic spectacle. From somewhere in the middle of the record, Schattenschranz (Shadow Wreath) helps to make the two ends meet.
 
A breathy tone inhales the silence as a pulsing synth pad begins to chant an ethereal melody. Reverb and echo decorate the spaces as snappy cymbal taps flux in the desirable atmosphere. A crafting of percussion unveils with messages in abstract tone as plunges of rhythm sink into the flow of moving footholds. A ghostly voice sings in the shadows, draped in mystery and spectral vortices, the human element rises along jostling drums and sprinkles of synthesiser that revolve along moving platforms. Laid-back and introspective layers merge in a balance-work of disparate additions that harmonise and compliment under obscure conditions. Perplexing mixes of flow sit like humanistic qualities on comfortable rhythms and consistent pulses of timing within the colliding impeti of the soft yet radiant production.
