Taking another firm stride out into the open with his dynamic and entertaining style, Seán McComish is back from his debut release Stay Away From Me. Perhaps there was a bit of reverse psychology going on because it's only gathered more fans to his name, each one eager to hear what the Irish music pop star on the rise has to offer next. Taking his inspiration from singer-songwriters such as Ed Sheeran, Seán McComish aims to infuse his own spirit and soul with modern-day variations of the ballad and love-song.
It begins with a slosh of cymbal and an interestingly transitioned vocal. A smooth effect covers the tone like a long-distance telephone call. With a surge of brass and synthesiser, drums break into an upbeat drive as the clean vocal shatters the boundary. Seán McComish begins to throw notes around like he owns them, his pitch-perfect delivery only aids the funky and sensation-filled composition. Repeating chorus lines and an energetic rhythm section gives Fade Away a striking and memorable sound.
