Israeli electronic and bass music producer Corvad has teamed up with Serbia/Montenegro-based audio-visual collective Traka to unleash The Calling. An invitation to discover each of our own destinies, the music takes us through a steady thomp over driving dance-inspired breakbeat and bassline. Having worked with Mou5trap and with Soma Records, it’s time for Corvad to bring his sounds to Cosmism with Traka along for all the right reasons. The pairing work well together, drawing on their unique skills to draw parallel lines that encircle the desired effect.
 
The track begins with an epic horn sound. Like a call-to-arms, we sit up, stand up, and begin to move. A beat is quickly offered on a silver platter, like the head of a freshly slain enemy. Bass begins to curdle like milk underneath in sways of dash and swoop. The drums bash and scatter as various filters and riffs add charm and strangeness to the fills. Sudden outbursts of bass begin to swell like broken rivers spilling over as various plunges of depth-charge and diving apparatus keep the powerful growling under a blanket of drums and synth.  A barrage of musical force keeps us afloat in this choppy and splash-heavy butterfly stroke of electronic sorcery.
